Description

Nanosynt is a synthetic bone substitute material based on biphasic calcium phosphate (60% hydroxyapatite and 40% β-tricalcium phosphate). It is non-toxic, radiopaque, and highly biocompatible. It exhibits excellent osteoconductive properties, being resorbed and replaced by living bone tissue during the bone remodeling process.

The Nanosynt Synthetic Bone Graft by FGM is a bone substitute material based on biphasic calcium phosphate, with excellent properties.

Its indications for use include:

  • In small to medium-sized intraoral and maxillofacial bone defects that present at least three remaining supportive walls.
  • In alveolar reconstruction/filling of one or multiple sites (e.g., following tooth extraction).
  • In horizontal and vertical reconstruction of bone defects in the alveolar ridge.
  • In regenerative periodontal and peri-implant treatment.
  • In maxillary sinus elevation (sinus lift).
  • In filling of bone defects following apicoectomy, cyst removal, and corrective osteotomies.

Features:

  • High porosity (80% to 90%).
  • Promotes vascularization, osteoblast migration, and bone deposition.
  • Enables the connection between forming and/or newly formed bone tissue and the surrounding bone tissue.
  • Prevents encapsulation of the forming bone tissue by fibrous connective tissue.
  • Excellent hydration and handling – should be hydrated “drop by drop” with saline solution or blood to form a cohesive, easy-to-use mass.
  • Osteoconductive, with an optimal structure that supports vascularization and cellular deposition.
  • 100% synthetic product based on biphasic calcium phosphate.
  • Contributes to biological safety by eliminating any risk of contamination.
  • Radiopaque, non-toxic, and highly biocompatible.
